Fender Custom Shop John English Telecaster Thinline Flame Top Cherry Sunburst 1994
We love older Fender Custom Shop guitars, this one dating back to the early 1990s that shows just how long the Custom Shop has been committed to doing awesome one-off instruments. This is a 1994 John English built Telecaster, likely built as a small run for Washingtons Hugo Helmer Music as per the special neckplate. The guitar has a bound flame maple top with a semi-hollow ash body, and a Lace Sensor Red humbucker in the bridge for hotter lead tones. The guitar is in overall very good condition with some wear around the body, nothing to affect the feel of the guitar. It includes the original hardshell case. You can see the build date and Englishs signature via the inner label within the “F” hole.
