Fender Tom DeLonge Starcaster Satin Surf Green
With the re-ignition of Blink 182 comes another awesome collaboration with Fender that we can tell is going to be another bonafide classic. This is the Tom DeLonge Starcaster in Satin Surf Green! Just like his original signature Strat – this one features a single-humbucker layout with that large ’60s Strat headstock with a set of tweaks that make this a powerhouse instrument. The laminate maple body features a center block for sustain and resonance as well as keeping feedback in check. The neck is a gloss-finished piece of roasted maple with a 22-fret rosewood board and a flat 12″ fretboard radius.
Most known for his use of the Duncan Invader pickup, a humbucker with that kind of output would destroy a semi-hollowbody guitar, so Tom and the team have chosen the medium-output Duncan Custom humbucker that’s perfect for single note riffs and crunchy power chords. The guitar has a single volume control with a treble bleed circuit so that you don’t lose out on high end when you roll back the volume. For hardware: locking tuners and an adjustable tune-o-match bridge keep the setup simple and stable! Pick up your new Tom DeLonge Starcaster at The Music Zoo now!
