1949 Gibson J-45 Acoustic Guitar Sunburst
This is a lovely vintage J-45, one of the nicer sounding examples we’ve had in the shop. It’s a bold and loud guitar, with great sustain and classic J45 tone that is clear and crisp. The guitar has a couple notable top cracks and one repaired side crack, all of which seem stable and solid. At some point another set of tuners where on the guitar, but its now fitted with the correct style. The frets show light wear but play just fine, and there has been a strap button added to the neck heel. The finish shows normal strumming and buckle wear for it’s age over the finely grained spruce top and mahogany body. Beautiful rosewood board and bridge, along with a full, comfortable C shape neck that fills out as you work your way up. Non original hardshell case included.
