1967 Micro Frets Golden Melody Sunburst
This is a 1967 Micro Frets Golden Melody from very early on in the companies short-lived duration, it’s a pre-serialized Golden Melody model with a beautiful sunburst finish and bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. The guitar is equipped with the ‘Micro Nut” and a calibrated vibrato tailpiece, which is very cool and extra rare – most Golden Melody guitars had a stop tailpiece. The pickups are Bill Lawrence designed and sound great: a very cool design are the roller volume and tone controls mounted on the pickguard. The guitar is in overall excellent shape for its age, it’s been well taken care of. All electronics work as they should. It includes a lightweight gigbag.
