1990 Les Paul Custom Transparent Red Custom Colours Edition
Looking for an eye-catching Les Paul Custom? Here you go! This is a 1990 Gibson Les Paul Custom which was part of the “Custom Colours” run of Les Pauls in unique colors – only 200 were made of each. The guitar features a transparent red finish over a maple top and solid mahogany body, gold hardware and a slim profile to the mahogany neck. It’s not 1960 Les Paul slim, but still skinny enough that lead playing is quite fun on this one. The guitar is in very good condition: scratches and small dings scattered around the body and neck with light wear on the first five frets. The guitar rings out clearly, and has a great look to it with the gold hardware, bright red finish and black plastics. The pickguard is a replacement – the original black multi-ply guard was cracked and is included in the case along with a set of strap locks. The case is in good condition – there’s one broken latch on the bottom portion of the case. It still protects the guitar as it should!
