Aclam Woman Tone Pedal Effect Pedal
This is the Woman Tone overdrive from the excellent Aclam company, based out of Barcelona, Spain! The Woman Tone – as you’d imagine, recreates that famous rolled-down tone knob sound which Eric Clapton made famous during his time with Cream, especially at the last Royal Albert Hall show. The pedal gives you two options: the first is mainly a fantastic plexi-style overdrive sound, and then with the second footswitch you then activate the “Woman Tone” which gives you that rolled-off tone knob sound without having to take your picking hand away from playing.
To bring things full circle, the artwork on the Woman Tone pedal is created by Marije Koger, the former leader of art collective The Fool – most known for their artwork on Erics SG used during his time with Cream.
