Bartlett Retrospec Semi-Hollow Oxblood
This is a Retrospec Semi-Hollow model from Bartlett Guitars, built outside of Toronto Canada to specs of the solidbody electric guitars of the 1950s that we all know and love. This guitar is crafted of old growth Honduran mahogany that’s been chambered for a lighter weight with an added resonance thanks to the bound sound hole, with a fretboard of CITES-certified Brazilian rosewood, and all hot hide glue construction. The Retrospec is even finished in nitro lacquer that is made without any of the plasticizer found in modern nitrocellulose finishes. It’s a gorgeous instrument that is built by hand with attention to every detail.
