1957 Gibson Les Paul Special Electric Guitar TV Yellow
This is a guitar that should be on every guitar players bucket list – a vintage ’57 Les Paul Special in TV Yellow. There’s just something about the old ones when it comes to Gibson P-90 guitars that gets us every time, and let us tell you, this one is a good one. The guitar has a slab mahogany body with a neck that’s neither slim nor super chunky, a rosewood fretboard, two P-90’s and a wraparound tailpiece.
The guitar at one point had a Bigsby on it, as the screw holes remain on the top of the body as well as near the strap pin. The tuners have been changed, with the originals included in the case. Lastly the guitar has had a refret with more modern larger-size frets that are perfect for players who want that fat vintage P-90 tone with the faster feel of a guitar with bigger frets – they’re great for ripping leads and digging into your playing. The case included is a vintage Cali girl case, and an interesting note on the case is the old James Gang decal right near the handle, which definitely adds some vibe to the guitar if you ask us.
