1962 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman Double Cutaway
This is a vintage 1962 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman, in overall excellent vintage condition. It’s an interesting piece that must have been ordered from the Gretsch factory with chrome/nickel hardware and humpblock inlays as opposed to the thumbprints that were standard by 1962. The guitars hardware and electronics remain original, however the string mute pad has been lost to time and needs to be replaced. The action on the mute lever is working great. The “G” string tuner key is slightly bent, but still works. The original cream tolex case with cowboy binding is included. The case itself is in good condition with all latches working, but some areas of tearing on the cream covering.
