1967 Gibson ES-335TD-12 Guitar Sunburst
Here’s a very fun one: a beautiful 12-String Gibson ES-335 in Sunburst built in 1967. The guitar remains all original with the electronics, hardware and pickups all remaining stock. There’s a good bit of fretwear on the first fret from cowboy chords being played for decades and lacquer checking scattered around the body. There’s lacquer cracking around the neck heel.
Functionally, the guitar can use a bit of a fret level (or a full refret if you prefer larger frets) because there are some dead notes on the three high strings from the 16-18th frets. Other than that area, everything rings like a bell. Both tone control pots have been sprayed to clean them out however are still slightly dirty, they could stand to be replaced. The guitar includes a non-original hardshell case.
