1977 Gibson Les Paul Artisan Walnut
This is a 1977 Gibson Les Paul Artisan in the classic Walnut stain finish. The Artisan was produced during the Norlin-era as a high-end model to show off the craftsmanship of the Gibson factory with its vintage-banjo inspired appointments. There are hearts and flowers fretboard inlays (some pedals are missing from the first and third fret inlay sets), a pre-war pearl script headstock logo and pearl button tuners. The guitar has been refretted, along with a changed nut, stopbar tailpiece and bridge change out as well. It’s a nice example of a lightly-worn ’70s Les Paul that’s had some upkeep over the course of its life to keep going. The original case is included along with the original parts.
