1979 B.C. Rich Eagle Natural Koa
One of our favorite BC Rich designs, here’s a vintage 1979-1980 B.C. Rich Eagle guitar in a natural finish to show off the grain in the koa body wings as well as the neck-thru maple stringers. The guitar has two DiMarzio double cream humbuckers, and partial active electronics with a built-in pre-amp and six-position varitone for really dialing in your sound.
The guitar has a professionally repaired headstock break which went up to the fretboard as you can see. The repair is holding well and the guitar plays as it should! There’s a lacquer crack on the top as you can see it running underneath the bridge – this is purely cosmetic and not structural. It has a fresh output jack installed for reliability. The guitar has a bit of fretwear and is due for a fret level in the not too distant future. This guitar has been loved and definitely built to withstand decades of rocking – you can see it by the worn down bobbins on the bass side of the neck pickup from years of a pick wearing away. That’s pretty awesome if you ask us! The original case is included with this Eagle.
