1981 Yamaha SG-1000 Sunburst
Part of a Yamaha series that seems to only be getting cooler with age, this is a 1981 Yamaha SG-1000 in a bright red sunburst finish! The guitar is an awesome player, with a bit of wear around the body and neck but all freshened up and maintained with new switches and pots that make it ready for even more years of service. There’s some slight pitting on the fretboard as shown – but it isn’t very noticeable while you’re playing and doesn’t caught your hands to catch on the fretboard. The original push-push pots are replaced with a fresh set of push-pull pots to split the pickups. This one comes in a new Gator Pro-Go gigbag, it does not include the original pickguard.
