1984 Gibson Les Paul Custom Ebony
This is a 1984 Gibson Les Paul Custom, in the classic Ebony finish, paired with gold hardware. The guitar is a really nice and manageable 9 lbs, 7 oz, as opposed to the 10+ pound Norlin-Era Customs we often come across. The guitar has original Posi-Lock diamond-shaped strap buttons, and the famous Gibson crank tuners on the headstock! It has original patent number humbuckers as well. The body is in good condition: some dings around the top and a medium amount of buckle rash on the back. There’s some wear to the back of the neck but nothing which would feel rough to the touch or affect the playability of the guitar! The bridge on the guitar has a fair bit of corrosion to it, and would likely want to be replaced with a fresher piece of hardware to keep the guitar going for years to come – an easy replacement! With the light weight- this is a great choice for those who want an older Custom filled with honest wear and cool mojo.
