1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom Cherry Sunburst
A great finish, comfortable weight, and classic sunburst looks. What’s not to love about this 1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom!? The guitar is what you want out of a Les Paul: maple cap, a (non-pancake) mahogany body, single-piece mahogany neck and a block inlaid ebony fretboard. The neck pickup has been swapped for a Bill Lawrence humbucker, with the original “The Original” Gibson humbucker included in the Protector case pocket. There’s some very light buckle rash on the back of the body, and light pick marks around the top. A ding on the very tip of the headstock resulted in a light crack through the lacquer (not through to the wood) and there’s some finish wear at the edge of where the fretboard meets the body. A set of Schaller strap locks is already installed and included for you to throw on your favorite strap.
