Aclam Dr. Robert Unknown Pleasures Limited Edition Overdrive Effect Pedal
This is the new and limited edition version of the famed Dr. Robert pedal by Aclam dubbed the Unknown Pleasures. Not only did the Beatles use the Vox UL 730 extensively, but so did another group of British legends: Joy Division. More specifically Bernard Sumner, guitarist of Joy Division. Inspired in the album cover, Dr. Robert – Unknown Pleasures is a new version of the closest replica of the discontinued and rare 1966’s Vox® UL 730 amp circuitry, like in the original Dr. Robert.
Using the same circuit, with a unique mids control, Aclam have renamed the “Mach Schau!” function into Disorder! with an independent volume to get more versatility and match every Unknown Pleasures guitar tone. To rememorate the iconic amp extensively used during the recording of Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures album and kept alive by Bernard Sumner till nowadays with New Order, Dr. Robert – Unknown Pleasures is now out for you to get saturation like Sumner did for the tones achieved in songs like ‘Shadowplay’ and ‘She’s Lost Control’.
