Charvel Custom Shop FU-Tone Loaded San Dimas Satin White Music Zoo Exclusive
We have been looking forward to this run of Charvel Custom Shop guitars for quite some time! This is a San Dimas in Satin White and loaded from the factory with FU-Tone hardware, an EVH Wolfgang humbucker, and a 24-fret ebony fretboard inlaid with brass dots.
A collaboration between ourselves, the Charvel Custom Shop and our longtime friend Adam Reiver – owner of FU-Tone! These guitars are San Dimas models, all finished in satin frost colors and will be fully loaded with Adams famous FU-Tone hardware. Professional players such as Scott Ian, Steve Stevens, Warren DeMartini, Slash, Vernon Reid, and Eddie Ojeda have all relied on FU-Tone to take their Floyd Rose-equipped guitars to the next level.
FU-Tone offers high quality upgrades built of heavy duty brass and titanium for all types of guitars hardware, but most famously Floyd Rose tremolos. These guitars will have a 42mm Brass sustain block with the “L” feature. The “L” takes advantage of the empty space under a tremolo arm assembly, and uses the old adage of ‘mass=sustain’. If you can have more metal in the piece of hardware which holds the strings – why shouldn’t you?
The guitars are loaded with the red Silent Heavy Duty tremolo springs, which have a polymer coating and a foam core to avoid that spring noise. The bridges will also feature brass tremolo stoppers, titanium string lock inserts, and red colored D-Tunas for a pop of color.
