Charvel Custom Shop San Dimas HH Electric Guitar Cooked Butternut
This fabulous guitar is a San Dimas HS from Charvel Custom. It’s built with a roasted (or “cooked”) butternut body that is very lightweight and very resonant. We should point out that butternut is a porous wood and the light marks and tiny holes are a natural occurrence in the wood. The neck is roasted maple with an un-roasted skunk stripe and fretboard dot inlays, which contrast very nicely. With gold hardware (crown tuners, dome knobs and pickup selector, and a tremolo bridge), this San Dimas is a beautiful-looking instrument. Pickups are a two Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The guitar’s light weight yields superb resonance and a big open voice that’s audible when played acoustically and plugged in.
