This is an EVH Frankenstein replica, built to look and feel just like the multi-colored guitar that Eddie Van Halen changed the world with back in the 1970s. This collectible instrument was limited to only 300 pieces, and includes the original shipping box, roadcase, certificate signed by Eddie Van Halen, and the original accessories box.
Every last nick, ding, scratch, and cigarette burn has been faithfully replicated so as to be virtually indistinguishable from the original, including Eddie’s iconic red-white-and-black striped paint job. Other unique features include screw-eye strap hooks, a 1971 quarter by the bridge, masking tape along the lower bout, and reflectors on the back. The neck is an unvarnished, wide/thin shape, cosmetically worn to feel like the original, and the Frankenstein Humbucker pickup sounds like nothing else.
