EVH SA-126 Special QM Wolfgang Van Halen Signature Trans Purple
This is the SA-126 Special0 from EVH finished in a Trans Purple finish over a quilt mapel top! The SA-126 is a semi-body guitar with bolt-on neck construction and features chambered mahogany topped with maple, a basswood centerblock and bolt-on satin-finished mahogany neck topped with an ebony fretboard. The design also features Tim Shaw-designed humbuckers that are direct-mounted to the body (a classic EVH spec), the 70’s-esque harmonica bridge, individual volume and tone controls per pickup, and a graphite-reinforced neck.
The guitar easily goes between the heaviest of rhythm styles with tons of low end chunk to searing high-speed leads thanks to the jumbo frets and compound radius. It’s a very fun piece to play, and we think guitarists of all genres will love it!
