Fender 1967 Telecaster Owned by Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues
Here’s an original 1967 Telecaster, with a well-worn finish that has aged to a Butterscotch color – previously owned by Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues. The guitar was originally sold via an Artist Collection on Reverb.com, and includes a certificate of authenticity from that sale. Notable features on the guitar are a Fender “F” stamped Bigsby – the first year it was available as a factory official option from Fender. The guitar has newer ‘medium jumbo’ sized frets to the 7.25″ radius fretboard, and pot codes which are dated to 1966. The guitar has a great feel to it with a medium “C” neck shape, and lots of Telecaster sparkle. This guitar was featured on the song “December Snow” off of the 2003 Moody Blues album “December”. A great instrument for a Moody Blues fan, or anyone who loves a well-worn Tele!
