Fender Custom Shop 1957 Stratocaster Time Capsule 2-Tone Sunburst Finish Masterbuilt Todd Krause
This is a really fun Strat if you want classic ’50s looks built by one of the very best in the business. This is a ’57 Stratocaster with a Time Capsule 2-Tone Sunburst finish over a roasted ash body masterbuilt by Todd Krause. Todd is the man responsible for building Stratocasters for the likes of Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, so you know he knows his way around what makes a good Strat. The guitar has a 10/56 “V” profile carved into the quartersawn maple and given the same yellow tint used on the David Gilmour Strat. Specs are ’50s style with a 7.25″ radius, small vintage frets and a 3-way switch. The pickups on the guitar are a set of handwound by Josefina Fat ’50s single-coils. The guitar is lightweight and rings out like a bell!
