Fender Custom Shop 1964 Mustang NOS Dakota Red with Matching Headstock
Whoa! This is a rare piece from the Fender Custom Shop. We don’t see too many teambuilt Mustangs from them often, so when a guitar like this appears it’s definitely a treat. This is a Custom Shop ’64 Mustang with the classic Dakota Red finish that’s topped off with a matching headstock and a racing stripe – two of our favorite appointments to see on a Mustang. Not to be outdone by the finish, they gave this one an AA-grade flame maple neck. Specs otherwise are traditional Mustang with the two handwound pickups and slider switches to control each pickup. We don’t think this guitar will stick around long, so make it yours quick!
