Fender Custom Shop Fat ’50s Handwound Limited Edition Stratocaster Single-Coil Pickup Set
Here are some pickups that will bring you back to the days of black and white TV and thick-rimmed glasses, the Fender Custom Shop Fat ’50s Strat pickups, and this set is a limited edition set of only 200 made, wound by Custom Shop winder Josefina Campos. The pickups use heavy formvar wire with ‘50s era cloth covered leads and fiber bobbins. The magnets are vintage-staggered hand-beveled Alnico 5s, and are reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum-cancelling in the 2 and 4 position.
