Furch Green Series Dreadnought Cutaway 9-String Acoustic-Electric Natural
This is a Furch Green Series Dreadnought Cutaway 9-String acoustic guitar. Furch guitars are a boutique acoustic company based out of the Czech Republic and used by players such as Al di Meola and Suzanne Vega.
Construction on this 9-String Dreadnought include an AA-grade sitka spruce top with AA-grade Indian rosewood back and sides all wrapped up in a full-pore satin finish. The strings are doubled on the top three G, B and E strings for a shimmering tone without doubling the bass so you can retain a clear and bold low-end. Cosmetics include faux ivory binding, multi-ply purfling, a black walnut double-ring rosette and pearl dot inlays! Rounding out the construction there is the Furch CNR System within the neck; high precision, dual-action truss rod maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck relief, bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and enduring optimal setup.
