Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Elegant Transparent Purple 2000
Here’s a Les Paul with an added bit of flash…you could almost call it elegant. In fact, you can call it a Les Paul Elegant because that’s exactly what it is! Built in 2000 by the Gibson Custom Shop, the guitar has a Transparent Purple finish (which has faded into a more Trans Pink color) over a fantastic flame maple top. The Elegant guitars have chambered mahogany bodies and a rounded neck profile that is slim but still has some shoulder to it. There is an ebony fretboard and abalone trapezoid inlays. Tone is provided by a set of aftermarket Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers. There are some light dings around the body and some areas of buckle rash, nothing to affect playability. The original hardshell case is included.
