Gibson Custom Shop Made 2 Measure Mahogany Futura Electric Guitar Tri-Burst
A legendary design from Gibson that may or may not have been made in the 1950s as a spin-off of the Explorer design. We’ve brought back the Futura for a 2016 Custom Shop build with a tri-burst finish on a mahogany body, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard and dot inlays, and two excellent sounding Custombucker humbuckers to provide the tone. The guitar is topped off with classy gold hardware, and is a ton of fun to play. If there’s ever a design to help you stand out from the crowd, the Futura is it!
