One of Rock and Roll’s most beloved guitar players and not to mention tireless guitar collector Rick Nielsen, along with the Gibson Custom Shop bring us this new 2016 limited run of ’59 Les Pauls modeled after Nielsen’s own original ’59 Burst. Rick has owned his ’59 for the last 25 years, and still insists on bringing it on the road, insurance rider be damned. Nielsen and the Custom Shop worked hard to replicate the original guitar, down to the color along with dings and scuffs it’s accumulated on stages with Cheap Trick over the years. This Nielsen Burst ’59 Les Paul is part of only 50 signed instruments.
