Here we have an awesome looking 2018 Gibson Custom Shop ’59 Les Paul as part of the Standard Historic series, which sees the solid-bodied, sunbursted guitar with historic aniline dye, hide glue neck construction, and the long-neck tenon of the original Les Pauls. The guitar has a Dark Bourbon Fade VOS finish over a flame maple cap, solid mahogany body, Custom Bucker PAF humbuckers, and a great slight “V” ’59 profile to the neck that fits right in the palm of your hand and is one of our favorites for lead guitar playing! This guitar has one of our favorite types of flame tops, where the vertical grain underneath creates a checkerboard-esque pattern, super cool viewing from every angle.
